![]() its seriously making me mad, and i can’t continue my training unless this is sorted. any transformations u make snap to the grid lines on the screen…in blender this isn’t the case. ![]() In every other 3d app (hammer included) snap to grid is means EXACTLY that…‘SNAP TO GRID!!!’. Is there an option in blender to snap all transformations to the grid on screen? in the preferences menu? or a hotkey? I cannot understand why anything i select (object, vertex, edge or face) refuses to snap to the grid on screen, no matter the zoom level…Įven with very simple plains it seems to choose its own grid snapping, and the only way i can get my selections to snap to grid is to deselect everything, select everything, shift+S > snap selection to grid.Īs you can imagine this is impractical and downright ridiculous when dealing with complex meshes. ![]() I’m new 2 blender, but have used hammer editor extensively so im not entire 3d n00b.
